Distracted by Doing? How to Get Back In Alignment with Your Purpose-Work

Distracted by Doing? How to Get Back In Alignment with Your Purpose-Work

Hi, I’m Kimberly Spencer, and I’ve been addicted to doing. I’m a do-er. Most of the people I work with are do-ers. In fact, it’s hard to get us to NOT do. There is always something to-do. A neverending to-do list of “shoulds” and “supposed to’s.” To be honest, we LOVE the hustle, the thrill of rising into a challenge, the testing of our limits to see just how hard we can push ourselves. Be aligned with your purpose and tap into your reign. Click to read the full blogspiration.

LOVE Lives On Forever

LOVE Lives On Forever

523,600 minutes. The musical “Rent” has been playing on the backtrack of my mind since my dad died. Particularly the songs, “Without You” and “Seasons of Love” - probably more so the latter since Decky loves the song because it has numbers in it. 523,600 minutes. 523,000 moments so dear. 523,600 minutes, how do you measure a year? Each one of those 523,600 minutes is a moment to LOVE. Choose to love and tap into your reign. Click to read the full blogspiration.

Are you listening to a BUSY-Ness Consultant or a Busy Consultant

Are you listening to a BUSY-Ness Consultant or a Busy Consultant

One of the trends I absolutely hate in my industry as a coach is seeing coaches with LITTLE TO NO business experience in their coaching business, suddenly turn into a “business coach” because they realized it was more lucrative. Yet, they had no past success business...and no proven results of what works. They have no track record or results. So they give their clients all this busy-work - post on social media, rebrand, build your website, show up on Insta Stories every single day, do podcasts, and do more podcasts, launch a Youtube channel, provide value ...so much value ...tons of value ...without truly knowing business. Discover transformative results and tap into your reign. Click to read the full blogspiration.

Take Your Goals Off the Pedestal And Bring them Into the Present

Habits aren’t the problem. THIS is.

Habits aren’t the problem. THIS is.

Habits are the results of the thoughts you think, the feelings you feel, and most importantly, the BELIEF you have. While most coaches work on the “doing” habits of getting you to your goals, how often are you working on the habits of BEING? Being who you are creating yourself to be? Discover 3 questions to ask yourself to help you become more consistent with your DOING habits, by starting with the BEING.

Live Truthfully Under Imaginary Circumstances: The Parallel of Money and Acting

Live Truthfully Under Imaginary Circumstances: The Parallel of Money and Acting

This whole “money mindset” was never a thing that I had to focus on. When I wanted to make $1500 a week teaching Pilates, I made $1500 a week. I set the intention, did the work, achieved the result. It never occurred to me that there was a whole mindset around money. I never started thinking about my “money mindset” until I was $40,000 in debt with a fledgling hobbyist “business,” with one client at $100/month and no notion of a sales process back in 2016. I didn’t make the connection between what had made me successful before in past businesses, sales, and money. So I made it all about money. I thought about money all the time. I thought about all the ways I could make money. I journaled about money goals. I made it all about money. I counted every penny. I was vigilant with my spending. But still, no sales. No business. And I was still stuck on the struggle bus. The problem was I made it about MONEY.

Why High Achievers Struggle to Meditate

“I can barely sit still for 5 minutes.” I used to pride myself on always doing. DOING. DOING. DOING. Where my high achievers at, yo! Sitting still was NOT my jam. Give me music blasting in my ears and 30-minutes at a steady clip of 6.0 miles per hour and I was golden. Moving meditations I could do. Running, pilates, pole dancing, anything that allowed my body to just release and express and let go. But... Being alone and quiet in my head used to be a dangerous place for me to rest in because I wasn’t at rest. I wasn’t at peace with myself. I warred with the light and the darkness. It was then that my mom said four words that stuck with me forever, “Be kind to yourself.”
