Consistently throughout these past trying months facing the deepest fear and acceptance of loss I have ever known after losing my dad, I have been told, “You’re so strong.” Or, “You’re the strongest person I know.” I don’t say this to brag. Here we are in February. January was in a word...growth. Losing my dad was hard. It’s still hard. And grief is a process. There are moments when I remember a funny thing he used to say or something I used to nag him about that brings me to tears within an instant.
